I didn't think these tips up, they were found across the internet.
Personally I don't really need them but they are nice to read once in a while. 1. Start slow. These things can't be rushed y'know. The faster you throw yourself into it the more likly it is that you will give up. 2. Start to find out all the calories in food. This really helps with your eating. By knowing what foods are high in and calories and which are not you can figure which foods to eat and which to flee screaming from. 3. Drink lots of water and especially cold as it helps you burn more as your body has to work harder to regain your regular body temperature. Plus it helps with those first hunger pains. 4. Begin an exercise rutine. It good to start early and get into it. Plus building up muscles and getting fitter helps your metabolism speed up and that, my dears, is a VERY good thing. 5. Gather together some thinspiration pics. Pics of skinny models and stuff to keep you triggered. 6. Write all your goals down. Your goal weight etc. Keep these goals close to hand when you want to break the rules. 7. Also remember that you do have to eat sometimes. Not a lot of course but you have to eat something. Make sure you eat at least two things each day. 8. Remember that Ana is not always fun. It can be so awful sometimes you'll want to die. But if this is the path you want to take i'm not going to stop you. I'll support you all i can but you have to do it right. Ensures best results you see. Its an amazing experience, you'll learn alot about yourself but we don't want any accidents do we? There no use being thin if your dead. A ginormous list of 223 001.drink a glass of water every hour it will make you feel full 002.pick one food for the day like an apple. cut it into 8 slices. eat 2 slices at breakfast, 2 at lunch, 2 at dinner, and you'll have 2 left for a snack! this way your body thinks it's eating 4 times that day, but in reality you've only had 1 apple. the next day pick another food. make sure it's only 1 serving that you split up into 3 or more throughout the day 003.eat one meal a day, this will help binge cravings 004.if you live on your own or have a lot of privacy, tape/tack up pictures of your favorite models and always carry one around with you, when you're hungry pull out the picture. if you live on your own tape them up on the fridge, freezer, and cupboards (just remember to take them down or cover them when people come over) 005.always wear perfectly applied sticky lipgloss it keeps you very aware of what goes in your mouth, and makes you think twice about eating anything, because you will have to carefully re-apply 006.'pro plus' are caffeine tablets which you can just buy from most shops, no need for calorie infested coffee, they are also easy to take if and when you do eat anything 007.if you're a smoker and you're hungry, light up a cigarette it curbs your appetite and you no longer feel hungry 008.in the morning, cut up an apple into eight pieces. eat two for breakfast, two for lunch, two for supper and two a few hours before you sleep, make sure to drink water with it so you can feel a little more full 009.make up places to go. say you're going to a friends house for dinner, or going out to a restaurant, and then just go somewhere where you can't eat 010.if you are really craving food, brush your teeth with a strong mint toothpaste, this helps to put me off food because of the taste it leaves behind 011.when you are hungry do something gross like dig for worms clean a kitty litter box or something it will make you just not hungry 012.in between each mouthful of food that you eat, take a sip of water, it fills you up and slows down your eating so that you stay in control 013.dexatrim - take 3 a day 1/2 hour before you eat and drink water and you'll be full after just a few bites 014.when drinking water.. drink ICE COLD water... your body has to burn calories to keep your body tempature up 015.GUM! get the sugar free kind and chew baby chew 016.try to eat in the same place every day. The only thing is weekends- try to stay as busy as possible 063.wearing "fashionable" gloves and scarves really helps when you get coldÂ… and makes people less suspicious than if you're always bitching that you're cold when they're all fine 064.Celery actually burns calories. Every hour I eat a stalk of it. Not only will it fill you up, but it'll also get your metabolism kicking 065.chewing and spitting out all the foods you crave and can't have is great, but this technique can also be used for chewing gum. If you like to chew massive amounts of gum, especially regular sugar-full gum, just chew it and spit out your sugary saliva. At 10 calories a stick, gum can add up quickly. Also remember that sugar-free gum is not calorie free so try spitting with it too. Another good reason to spit as you chew sugar-free gum is because the sorbitol in it can cause gas and bloating 066.When you feel you need to eat, list the reasons why its not such a good idea, by then you'll most likely lose the craving, and you'll have convincing reasons not to eat 067.Try Green Orange or Bitter Orange (found at health food stores). They contain synephrine which increases your metabolism more effectively and it's not as dangerous to use as ephdra (Ma Huang) 068.Coffee! On an empty stomach it will make you feel sick and will curb your appetite while burning cals b/c of the caffeine 069.always wear a rubber band on your wrist, when you're tempted - twang, you wont be for long 070.sniff scented markers or anything else that may smell like a fruit and then you won't be hungry anymore 071.Make a trigger/thinspiration book filled with dieting tips, quotes, safe foods, and anything else that will trigger you into not eating. When you feel the urge to binge, refer to your trigger book-it will remind you that you don't want to stay fat 072.If you get hunger strikes, go on a walk or sleep...keeping your mind off food will make them go away 073.If you're in college, plan your schedule so that it spreads throughout the day that way you won't have long gaps of time where you can pig out in your dorm this way no freshman 15 074.whenever you get hungry, think of all the people who made fun of you in jr. high 075.if you are eating a meal..only eat the every 5th bite..so take a bite spit it out..so on and so on..but when you get to your 5th swallow. then repeat 076.Whenever you feel hungry or feel tempted to snack, exercise. Go to a gym or do sit ups or jumping jacks or go run around the block a few times. You can't think about it though, b/c you'll just decide to eat. Even if you've only eaten 2 bites; if you feel that you might be full, just reflexively throw the food away. If your at a restraunt, just choose a seat next to the trash. I don't recommend this tip if you're eating with other people, though 080.If you're annoyed at your family for always trying to make you eat breakfast with them, tell them (while holding your stomach with your arms and looking like you're about to puke) that you always feel sick after you eat in the morning so early. Or that you have to go swimming in a few hours, and that you don't like eating before that 081.if you feel too tempted, go for a long, long walk and list all the reasons why you shouldn't eat the food. then when you come home you may be like "oh whatever I don't need that anymore" 082.If you do cook food, make sure it's something that takes a long time to cook (like cookies or a pasta or something) and also that has a big aroma, so that way when it's done and you're ready to eat it, you will have gotten filled up just by the smell and waiting and you won't be able to finish it all (this worked for me before I even realized it did). It also helps to drink a lot of water while you're waiting, as that fills you up, too 083.When you are really hungry (physically) then take some anti-heartburn pills. Stomach acid is always being made to help digest food and when you don't eat it builds up and you feel *hunger*. Pills help naturalize the acid and you won't get hunger pangs 084.If you throw food in the trash can in your bedroom, make sure you get rid of the bag before going to bed - otherwise it will reek in the morning 085.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 glasses a day. This ensures that the kidneys are functioning properly. If you are not fully hydrated this means that the kidneys are not working to their full capacity and results are that the waste products are then dumped onto your liver which, is where the fat process actually occurs. Water actually speeds up your metabolism 086.Excersise and sweat, when you sweat you burn calories, don't over due it however because then you will have a heat stroke. Also if you take a hot bath and you lose water from sweating, but wen you drink all the water it comes back again. A good way to do this is if you are going out and you really wanna fit into that tube top for summer, then just don't drink anything and take a HOT HOT shower and sweat a lot you will be thirsty but you will have lost a lot of weight for the time being. remember body is 98% water 087.If you feel like eating, the most important thing is to get out of the house!! Walk all the way across town to buy coffee/diet soda, go study somewhere where you won't be tempted to eat, or go to the gym 088.Eat a tiny piece of onion (like 1/2 in square). That way you have onion breath and people believe you really ate 089.If you have a craving for sugar, try fat-free, sugar free Jell-O... its only 10 cals per serving... if you want you can eat the whole bowl and its only 40 cals 090.After you eat brush your teeth. You won't want to eat when you have that minty taste and you teeth are clean 091.get tape or those roll up bandages and wind them tightly around your stomach..it stops you from eating because you can't get the food down properly and you also look thinner 092.If you eat at night before you go to bed make sure you lay on your left side it makes the food go through your system faster and wont have as much time to suck fat out of the food. but you shouldn't eat before you go to bed slows down your metabolism 093.just keep yourself extremely busy, almost to the point of being completely stressed out and you can go for 8hrs without being hungry or wanting to eat 094.Use two of the packet ginseng you find in convienence stores if you don't have diet pills (mini-thins work well also). Be sure you don't take more than two every six hours or so because if you haven't eaten in a while, 3 can give you the shakes 095.If you don't feel comfortable not eating too much, eat only a hard boiled egg, an apple, and a glass of water. I work at an Arby's, and it has curbed my appetite drastically 102.get comfy in bed, being comfy means you don't want to move, which means no getting up to get food 103.To get a slimmer belly, do as many crunches as you can stand. And then go to bed so you're well rested and not hungry 104.take zinc and potassium supplements, these work well with kelp in raising metabolism and mobilizing fat 105.drink several cups of green tea each day, which helps raise metabolism, also, add a few slices of lemon and a tiny bit of honey - this aids liver and kidney function, and thus avoids extra weight gain... it also fills u up quite well 106.If you have a terrible craving, turn on the T.V.! Most likely, SOME sort of show will be on with skinny, gorgeous actresses/models. It's a definite way to curb an appetite 107.If sitting at school, college etc. constantly tap your feet/fingers. Fidgeting throughout day is proven to burn up to 800 calories per day 108.If you get hungry, brush your teeth with mint toothpaste 109.If you're talking about celebrities, make sure to mention how you think Calista Flockhart is too thin and that you think Kate Winslet is gorgeous. Praise fat and people will never guess that you're starving yourself into thinness 110.If you're in outpatient treatment and have to have your blood tested - a comprehensive metabolic panel - there are a few ways you can fool the test. One, drink water - LOTS. You need to flush the ketones that have built up in your system out of your body or else they'll know you're starving/burning fat. Two, eat some nutritional stuff - yogurt, fruit, cereal - the day beforehand as well as a few hours beforehand, Technically, you're supposed to fast for 12 hours before the test for it to be accurate in measuring your vitamin levels. NOT fasting will up the vitamin levels. Three, makes sure you always take vitamins. Finally, you'll want to make sure you get your electrolytes in. Smartwater has 0 calories and electrolytes - perfect for this tip and the first one! So drink up 111.Wear nail polish to cover up the bluish tinge that starvation gives your fingernails so others don't suspect it as much 112.Have to go to a restaurant with someone? Some ways you can avoid eating much - 1. veganism (makes it hard to find suitable food); 2. severe food allergies (always a good answer when they offer chocolate!), or 3. order something that you've never tried before. When you taste it, say you don't like it 113.Three product recommendations: smart water (0 calories, but has electrolytes - even if you don't purge you lose them!), cafeinated peppermints (sugar free - 3 for 5 calories, at www.peppermints.com), and antacid gum (for those times you do have to purge). These are the triumvirate of the anorexic's medicine cabinet 114.Remember... Beating hunger is mostly a matter of distraction. Try not to be alone if you really want to ignore your hunger. Drink a huge glass of water so your stomach doesn't rumble and then go window shopping or to Barnes and Noble and read a magazine... or go to a friend's house and laugh with them or something so that you get distracted. My favorite tactic of distraction is music... Heh, you get up and perform a concert of your favorite hitting fast jam with lip singing and air guitar, and do anything else you can to distract 115.use your mind - think about what the food would look like in your body after you have eaten it... hopefully that will put you off 116.When you're cooking, make sure you chew gum at the same time so you won't be tempted to take lil' bites of the stuff you're cooking 117.Wearing braces could take away your appetite. Depending on what kind of a person you are either lazy or not. In some cases other people don't bother cleaning their braces because they are sick and tired of doing it. It is also bad to leave chunks of meat and cheetos in-between braces and teeth. Their mentality says " Why bother eating again I don't want to clean my braces three times a day" . This tip is good for people who are "neat freaks" or hygienic. It is also a good advantage cause braces will give good teeth result. Braces may hurt the teeth but its another reason not to bother putting food in your mouth 118.If you're with your family or something, and you're at a buffet, spend most of the time acting like you're picky, and walk around the buffet tables. Then just get a little something and spit it in your cup or something. Sneak in some exercise too while you're walking 119.get a piece of RIBBON and cut it to the measurement that you want your WAIST to become after you lose weight. Then you tie this round your wrist like a bracelet. The idea is that each time you see the ribbon you remember your goal, and hopefully it stops you breaking your targets! And whenever you need a motivation boost, take the ribbon off and SEE IF IT FITS ROUND YOUR WAIST! And just imagine how cool it'll be when it does!! 120.Have a peppermint; peppermints decrease hunger. 121.Drink a lot of coffee on an empty stomach. 122.Hit your stomach when it grumbles because that will make the sound go away and your stomach will hurt too much to eat. 123.Diet soda is only 1 calorie a can or calorie free so drink as many as you want without feeling the guilt. There is also a sports drink at Costco that is no cal, so drink lots of that, too. 124.When you get the urge to eat, rinse your mouth with strong mouthwash, or brush your teeth. Food won't taste that great so why eat it? 125.MOVE CONSTANTLY! When sitting move your leg or something. Every calorie counts. 126.Chew sugar free gum it burns 11 cals/h and tricks your body to think your eating (Don't have too much though cos they can give you stomach ulcers) 127.Everytime you are about to eat something ask yourself "Do I really want that food more than I want to be skinny?" 128.Eat ice cubes your body thinks it's eating and its no cals. 129.Get sleep you will have less time in the day to eat and it decreses your appetite 15% 130.Never eat anything bigger than your fist. 131.Try staying occupied and out of the house as much as possible. 132. Make sure people see you eating when you do eat. 133.Spinning yourself in circles doesn't make you hungry anymore. 134.Keep a food journal (you will be willing to eat less if you are forced to keep track of it) 135.Pick apart your food cravings. If you eat food in separate parts instead of all mixed into one, it feels like you've eaten more and you don't get extra stuff you don't really need. For example, if you're really craving pizza, think about what it contains. Bread, tomato sauce, cheese. Drink a can of V8 or eat a tomato. If you still want pizza, have a rice cake or a few crackers or some other starch. If you still want pizza, have a piece of cheese. Or if you're craving peanut butter, have a handful of peanuts and avoid the added sugar and oil contained in most commercial peanut butter. If that doesn't work, eat a spoonful of honey for the sweetness overload. Same net effect, fewer total calories, no wasted empty added crap. 136.Give yourself permission before eating. Stop and think about it, consider if you really want to eat whatever-it-is. If your answer is yes, then say (or think) something like "I'm allowed to eat this" or "I have permission to eat this". 137.Make up crazy food rituals and follow them religiously. Track them in your Ana book. 138.Transfer your cravings. When you want the burger everyone else is having, convine yourself that you really want [carrots, celery, an apple, something negative calories, that you don't have on hand] then when you get home, you can treat yourself to that thing, and feel like you have given in to a craving, but without the guilt. 139.Associate food with feeling sick. You wont want to eat something,if the sight of it repulses you. 140.Only eat with skinny people, and then eat half of what they eat. 141.Video tape yourself, and look at it to see how fat you look. 142.Never eat anything larger than your fist. 143.Record EVERYTHING you eat~ count your calories 144.Walk in your neighborhood every day 145."We often mistake thirst for hunger."~Always drink lots of water (especially when you eat.) 146.Never eat alone- eat in front of your family 147.NEVER NEVER NEVER eat ANYTHING that doesnt have nutrition labels!!!!! 148.Exercise right after you eat- this helps. 149.Set the amount of calories you will eat a day- planning is always best! 150.Join a competition to motivate you! 151.Make a scrapbook journal that is thinspirational! 152.Tie a ribbon around a trouble spot (thighs) and pull it tight to how skinny you want it to be. Then tie it around your wrist as a reminder of where you want to be. 153.Weigh in! 154.Dont eat lunch- save your lunch money and buy a present for yourself later. 155.Take a bath!! This helps me when im fasting. 156.Do something that requires your hands or that you cannot eat doing. 157.Take vitamins! Always always. 158.Spit! Spitting into cups is a way to be in control when you are eating something out of control. 159.Know when your trigger time is with eating, and change your routine to avoid it! 160.Look at yourself in the mirror when you run in place- it will make you run longer and give you a good idea of how fat you are. 161.If it looks good, remove it- throw it out, flush it down the toilet, grind it in the disposal. 162.*Eat Ice cubes, they give you the feel like your eating something and the coldness can accually burn calories & drink lots of ice cold water~it'll keep your temp up. 163.take your vitamins!! 164.If you have a real bad craving for something that's evil, Just taste it but don't swallow! Enjoy every bite! 165.If you have hunger pains, curl up in a ball. 166.Go take a nap.. you should get enough sleep! If you don't get al least 6 hours then your appitite is increased by 15%! 167.Sit up straight. If you feel hungry, take a drink. 174.*drink a sip of water inbetween every bite. it makes you feel as if you were full. 175.*Watch what other people, especially fat people, eat, and feel superior...because they are feeding their fat bodies and they're getting fatter! 176.*If you've done well, reward yourself once a week, but not with food...buy yourself a new cd or go shopping and buy smaller clothes 177.*Create a pro-anorexia scrap-book with pictures and quotes...this is good to look at when you feel a binge coming on 178.*Spend a little time each day a a pro-anorexia website, reading your emails, or looking at your scrap book to stay motivated 179.*Check the fridge when nobody else is around...find food that you would have eaten and get rid of it..then you can say that you ate it 180.*Only eat when other people can see you. That way they cant say "you never eat!" 181.*Drink ice cold water it-it burns up cals, drink hot water-makes you feel full, you chose 182.*Leave dirty dishes around the house (example: pour a little milk in a bowl and put some peices of cereal in it and say you ate it) people will think your eating 183.*Use dark cups to drink from, then spit food in it 184.*Dont act oddly, if your always commenting on how skinny people are or how fattening certain foods are, someones bound to find how obsessed you are, noone needs to know this except for you. 185.*Take walks! They clear your mind, speed up your metabolism and once you start, you?ll be addicted! 186.*Go to the library. You can research dieting or whatever else interests you or you can actually do your homework for a change. Since no food or drink is allowed, you?ll have no choice but to forgo a meal. 187.* Reading books is really underrated. Start compiling a list of books that you have been meaning to read for a while and, well, actually read them. You may even want to read true accounts of anorexia to inspire you. 188.Listen to loud music. Many people eat because they feel anxious but if you channel this tension through another outlet, you?ll save yourself a lot of calories. 189.If you go to a resturant and really cant stand the thought of eating then take a purse lined with plastic inside and order a low fat meal and eat some but when no-one is looking drop some in the bag. ***BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THIS!!!*** 190.Try not to give too much attention to the mirror when people are near, people might notice. 191.Avoid watching movies about ana or mia when friends or family are around. Trust me...this makes their suspicion grow! 192.If your parents offer you food, that can easily be thrown away without their knowledge, take it and then throw it away, helps keep parents less suspicous. 193.Just plain out loud lie, it always works, unless its an obvious lie or your a bad liar. 194.Brush your teeth. Get a travel-sized toothbrush and toothpaste set and use it often. A clean minty mouth can make the thought of eating less attractive. Also, if you brush after every meal and every supposed meal, it's less obvious whether you've eaten or not. 195.Take a shower. Hot steamy water can suppress the appetite, in me at least, and paying close attention to your body will serve to remind you exactly why you're losing weight in the first place. If you feel clean you may not want to "dirty" yourself with food. 196.Fidget, take up a new hobby, find something to focus on. Find something with which to distract your hands and / or mouth. Chewing gum works for many people, but check for calories. Sewing or stringing beads is good, detail-oriented and monotonous. Keep yourself occupied. 197.Exercise. Find something you love to do and do it. If, like me, you're too self-conscious to exercise where people can see, then do it when you're alone at home or in a locked room or other safe place. Make it interesting. The best I've found? Dancing. Find music you love, cover the windows up, and don't even think about what you may look like since there's nobody to see. It's a lot of fun, and it helps you get more familiar with your body as well. 198.Find triggering pictures. You have internet access, I know you do. When you feel like eating, pick an actress or model that you think is particularly beautiful and search for pictures of them... or for pictures of people you find particularly ugly and fat. It's a slow, involving process and for me at least a great way to avoid eating. 199.Take a nap. A lot of people think they're hungry when really they're just tired. Also, drink water, since thirst can make you think you're hungry as well. 200.Keep a food diary. Write down everything you eat and anything else you feel might be helpful to know. This will allow you to measure progress and track patterns over time. 201.Set yourself rules regarding food. Pick ones that you know you can follow and stick with them. Then, keeping these, gradually add on more rules until your eating is entirely under control. It's hard to restrict yourself all the way at once, and more effective to do it in increments. The idea here is to sort of sneak up on yourself in tiny little stages, adapting to each new rule before making another. 202.Reward yourself, don't punish. Punishment is not effective and will do more emotional harm than physical good. Calculate how much money you're saving by not eating and add this up until you have enough to buy something you like (but not food). Or, put a penny (dollar, marble) in a jar for every small goal you keep and treat yourself with something (not food) once you reach a certain amount. Remember that these rewards will last longer and give more pleasure than food you would just eat, proccess, and discard. 203.Eat slowly, in small bites. Cut your food up into small pieces. Pause while eating to drink water or whatever other liquid you enjoy. It takes a while for "full" signals to get from our stomach to our brain. Also, if you eat over a longer period of time and add more liquids, it can trick your mind into thinking you've eaten more. 204.Take out only the amount of food you plan on eating. Wrap everything securely up before you start eating and put it away. Don't go back for seconds. Don't nibble while preparing food, either. Those bites and crumbles add up staggeringly fast. 205.Think about food before and while you eat it. Think about where it came from and exactly what happened to it before it reached you. This works particularly well with meat, dairy, and egg products. 206.Food associations. Find something that makes you feel vaguely ill or unpleasant, get a picture of it, and put the picture beside your food. Switch pictures frequently and make sure to look at the pictures while you eat. After a while you may began to associate food itself with unpleasantness, which will make you less inclined to eat. 207.Give yourself permission before eating. Stop and think about it, consider if you really want to eat whatever-it-is. If your answer is yes, then say (or think) something like "I'm allowed to eat this" or "I have permission to eat this". 208.Plan your meals in advance, for the day or week or whatever. Decide what you are allowed to eat each day. If you know that you will be eating, it may help you avoid eating other things. 209.If you feel yourself starting to lose control while you're eating, stop. Set your food down, take a long drink of water or some other cool liquid, and take a deep breath before resuming eating. This can help interrupt a slide into binge-mode. Remember to remind yourself that you are still going to finish your food and that you aren't stopping, just pausing for a moment. 210.Sabotage your food. Make it with too much water, too little sugar, an ingredient you don't care for. Add too much salt or pepper before you eat. You will eat less of it if it tastes bad. 211.Pick apart your food cravings. If you eat food in separate parts instead of all mixed into one, it feels like you've eaten more and you don't get extra stuff you don't really need. For example, if you're really craving pizza, think about what it contains. Bread, tomato sauce, cheese. Drink a can of V8 or eat a tomato. If you still want pizza, have a rice cake or a few crackers or some other starch. If you still want pizza, have a piece of cheese. Or if you're craving peanut butter, have a handful of peanuts and avoid the added sugar and oil contained in most commercial peanut butter. If that doesn't work, eat a spoonful of honey for the sweetness overload. Same net effect, fewer total calories, no wasted empty added crap. 212.About weighing yourself. Everyone has different methods here that work for them. Many people get discouraged with weighing themselves every day, because our weight is not a stable thing and can vary drastically from little insignificant things. Try to get a better overall picture through the fit of your clothing instead. 213.Throw food away before you eat it. A lot of people feel guilty and don't like to toss food. There's nothing wrong with this. Remember, though, that food gets discarded any way you look at it... purging, digesting, tossing... and isn't it better to get rid of the food before it puts fat on you instead of after? If you still hate to discard food, see how much of it you can donate to your local shelters and community service programs. 214.Apple cider vinegar (or possibly vinegar in general). It may help raise metabolism and burn fat. It may for you work as an appetite suppressant. Be careful, though, it may also hurt your stomach or cause nausea. Don't take more than a couple teaspoonfuls at a time. Try it mixed with honey in a glass of water, or in diet 7up or other clear carbonated soda about twenty minutes before eating, you may feel full quicker or decide not to eat at all. 215.Eat dense foods. They'll feel like more in your stomach. Light or fluffy foods tend to compact, and don't fill you up as well. Drink lots of liquids. 216.Avoid refined foods. They're in large part empty calories, and they don't satisfy the body or supply good solid nutritional requirements. The closer to natural you eat, the more value you get per bite, and the less you'll need to eat. Substitute whole grains for white flour and raw sugar for refined white sugar particularly. 217.Don't fill up on bread. It's deceptive. Six slices of bread can feel the same as one sandwich in your stomach, and it gets processed very quickly. If you do eat bread eat whole-wheat or grain bread, which will feel denser in your stomach as well as be healthier for your digestive system. Make a sandwich with vegetables or low-fat cottage cheese or salsa instead of eating bread plain. 218.Avoid alcohol and other drugs. Anything that can affect you will affect you more strongly and in different ways, and anything that affects your mind will lower your level of control. I hear the munchies are a nightmare when you're trying to lose weight, and waking up with a hangover surrounded by half-eaten food evidence can't be too much better. 219.Be careful with over-the-counter weight loss products, including the natural and herbal ones. They speed up your metabolism, yes, but they're designed to be taken with a decent amount of food and can be very very bad for your heart, head, digestive system, and nervous system if you use them with a severely restricted food intake. They can also mess up your sleep cycles, and people with irregular sleep cycles tend to eat more. I would suggest half doses to start with since they'll have more of an effect on someone eating very little, and watch for signs of panic, anxiety, or irritability. 220.Don't get discouraged with yourself. You didn't put on weight overnight, and it won't come off overnight either. These things take time, and time will pass no matter how much you're eating. 221. take vitamin B-6 and B-12 Supplements, they speed up your metabolism like none other. 222. purge in the shower, or in your sink while music is playing, people will be less supicious. 223 if your about to binge, chew some gum, and think to yourself "2/3 of america is obese, why add to that number." |
